No Data Collection

Geni does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The app is designed for children and takes privacy extremely seriously.

What Stays on Your Device

All data created in Geni remains exclusively on your device:

  • Child profiles (names, avatars, settings)
  • Learning progress and scores
  • Rewards, badges, and streaks
  • Parent PIN (stored securely in iOS Keychain)

No Internet Required

Geni works entirely offline. No data is sent to any server. The app makes no network requests during normal use.

No Third Parties

Geni contains:

  • No advertising or ad networks
  • No analytics or tracking SDKs
  • No social media integrations
  • No in-app purchases

Speech Recognition

The reading feature uses Apple's on-device speech recognition. Audio is processed locally by iOS and is never sent to external servers.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Geni is designed for children aged 5-10. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children or adults. Since no data leaves the device, there is nothing to collect.

Data Deletion

Deleting the app removes all data. You can also delete individual profiles from the parent dashboard at any time.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page with the new date. Since we collect no data, changes are unlikely.
